My focus in Political Science has been on international relations. I'm in the BA/MA Government and Politics program to earn my Master of Arts in Government and Politics with my major concentration in international relations and my minor concentration in public administration.
I studied Politics of the European Union with Dr. Azzedine Layachi where I had the pleasure of visiting the European Commission in Paris, the Istituto Affari Internazionali (a think tank in Rome), and lastly I visited the capital building in Madrid. I kept a log of political demonstrations and changes in policy that I saw during the three months I was in Europe. I used my experience along with articles and books that I read to write a comprehensive research paper on youth unemployment across Europe but specifically in Italy.
