If you would like to provide your students a basic structure or some starting content for their portfolio, you can create a template portfolio and share it with the course.

• First, create and organize the ePortfolio that will become the template.
• Within your course select the ePortfolio tab.
• Click Add Portfiolio 
• Click Add next to the name of the apprpriate portfiolio. 
• From the drop-down menu options make sure that students have view access to the portfolio, and that Offer this portfolio to students as a template is set to Yes, as below.
