 Seokhee Cho, Ph. D.
 
Dr. Seokhee Cho is a Professor at the School of Education, St. John’s University. She has been conducting consecutively three 5-year Javits Grant Projects; Project HOPE, Project TEAMS, Project BRIDGE, funded by the US Department of Education from 2009-2022, on teaching a challenging Math program to mathematically promising English learners in New York and South Carolina and teaching Science to Twice Exceptional Students. Dr. Seokhee Cho has written 12 books and over 200 articles on creative problem solving and gifted education in Science, Math, and the Language Arts. She was the Director of National Research Center on Gifted Education in Korea for 20 years, the President of the Asia Pacific Federation of the World Council for the Gifted and Talented (WCGTC), and a member of the Korean Presidential Advisory Council for Educational Innovation. She was awarded the Korean Decoration for the Merit of Civil Service and the Fulbright Senior Research Scholarship. At present, she is serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the AP Journal of Gifted and Talented Education of the Asia Pacific Federation of WCGTC and the Journal of Gifted/Talented Education by the Korean Society for the Gifted. Dr. Seokhee Cho is also serving as the Editorial Board Member of the Gifted Child Quarterly, Gifted Education International, and the Turkish Journal of Giftedness and Education.
