All professionals are invited to the 2nd World Conference on Ibero-American Culture This event will be held at the following locations in New York: St. John's University, Manhattan Campus, Metropolitan Museum, United Nations, Celeste Auditorium of The New York Public Library, Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. 

 

This year’s conference will pay special tribute to Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honorary Society, which will celebrate its centenary (1919-2019). Founded at Berkeley, California, on November 14, 1919, Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, is currently the largest honor society in foreign languages in the US, with over 615 chapters throughout the country. With its national headquarters at the College of Charleston in South Carolina, Sigma Delta Pi stands for outstanding academic achievement in Hispanic literature, Languaes and culture.

 

The purpose of this three-day event is to establish strong ties between institutions, providing a platform for discussion and a sharing of ideas between international writers, scientists, and researchers from all disciples.

 

 

Papers on a wide range of themes are welcome. Papers will be considered for publication in an indexed journal, DIALNET, GALE-Informe, and Hispano-American Review Online Journal. All requests must be submitted before June 25. The papers may be presented in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Arabic, Hebrew or any indigenous language.
