Del Mastro (Ph.D., University of Virginia) has lead his department with curricular development, departmental by-laws and policy revisions, publicity and public relations, and alumni outreach, among numerous other activities. As Executive Secretary-Treasurer (1997-2010) and Executive Director (2010-present) of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society.
