Kimberly A. Meyer

I graduated from William Paterson University in 2007 with a BA in English and went on to earn a Master's of Education and Literacy from Bank Street College in 2011. I worked as an elementary school teacher for two years before pursuing a degree for library and information science at St. John's University.

Although I began my work at St. John's University with a concentration in school librarianship, I reflected upon my time here and realized that I would be a better fit for a position in a public library in youth services.

This e-Portfolio demonstrates my abilities as a librarian as the work reflects the eight American Library Association core competencies. In my e-Portfolio, along with the work from the courses I have taken, I have included my resume and my professional philosophy.
