Greetings!

My name is Dr. Shruti Deshpande. I am a audiologist and a clinical-researcher. My research/teaching interest is in 'auditory perception and processing' (or listening). I teach undergraduate students in the department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. At the graduate level, I teach Doctor of Audiology (AuD) students of the Long Island Doctor of Audiology Consortium (Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John's University). I am passionate about teaching and contributing to the development of knowledgeable, compassionate, and culturally-responsive clinicians and researchers of tomorrow.
